Our hope is to curate a store that challenges high-street mass production. We pride ourselves as an independent, small business on our individuality and our freedom to make businesses choices that reflect our personal values. We have always been committed to ethical sourcing and we are continuing our journey in making our store more sustainable. Our hope is to make sustainable and ethical production an attainable and affordable choice for our community.
We choose to work with brands that share a similar passion for enriching the communities they work with, and for producing beautiful products without harming the environment. Here we will tell you more about the inspiring brands we have the privilege to work with, and more about the reasons behind whywe love them
We are extremely excited to be working with two beautiful Irish brands that are making waves in the sustainable movement.
Nunaïa
Nunaïa, pronounced [noo-nigh-yah], is a blend of 3 words from the Quechua language of the Andes Mountains. It means ‘Soul Tribe’ and represents Nunaïa‘s vision of fostering connection and well-being by nurturing people, planet and communities.
The Nunaïa products are thoughtfully designed to eliminate unnecessary waste and packaging.
- Bottles are made of Miron violet glass, printed with organic ink and are fully recyclable.
- All packaging is made with FSC Certified Paper and cardboard that is responsibly harvested, printed with environmentally friendly inks and is fully recyclable.
Nunaïa work directly with small farmer growers, mostly in the Andes Mountains and Amazon Rainforest, who use sustainable and organic farming practices that do not harm the earth. This allows them to preserve their cultural traditions and build sustainable futures for the next generation.
The Nunaïa Fund is the company’s way to give back to the South American communities they work with. A percentage of the profit on every product sold goes straight back into the communities and contributes to scholarship funds for female education in Amazonian and Andean communities, and to environmental conservation in some of Peru’s most threatened eco-system.
Not only are Nunaïa paving the way for sustainable and organic production in Ireland, we absolutely adore their entire skincare range too. We can guarantee you would enjoy the Nunaïa Ritual too.
